A lot of games for the Blizzard

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – Hockey fever takes over Edmundston in the coming days. Over a one-month period starting today, the Edmundston Blizzard will play 10 home games and just two away. There will be hockey at the Jean-Daigle Centre for five weekends in a row, something to please fans who love Maritime Junior A hockey.

On the weekend, the Blizzard (13-3-1-0 = 27 points) will play two games at the Jean-Daigle Centre. Frist the St. Stephen Aces (7-11-0-1 = 15 points) tonight at 7:30 pm. Then on Sunday, starting at 3 pm, the very strong Yarmouth Mariners (13-4-0-0 = 26 points)

A sold-out game of more than 2,400 spectators is already announced for the Friday night matchup. There are only a few tickets left for sale.

Blizzard and Aces have met three times this season. Edmundston won twice (6-2 and 4-1) and lost once (4-3).

No doubt the top weekend game in the MHL will be on Sunday afternoon featuring two of the best teams in the country, the Blizzard (19th) and the Mariners (20th) . This will be the first clash between these two teams this season.
