A parade in Edmundston to honor the Blizzard!

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – Now that the memorable Edmundston Blizzard season is over, it’s time for celebrations!

And what better than a parade of the Maritime champions to top it all! Blizzard’s organization said the parade will be held on Tuesday, May 8 starting at 6 pm. The departure will be from the Madawaska Historical Museum. Players will walk down the 15 aout road and the Édupôle alley to get to the Jean-Daigle Centre where speeches will take place in the parking lot at the East entrance of the building.

Fans are invited to cheer on their favourite players along the streets and have their picture taken with the Maritime Hockey League championship trophy and the EastLink Cup awarded to the North section champions. Popcorn and slush will be served in the parking lot at the East entrance of Jean-Daigle Centre.

This is the last chance to see and congratulate the Blizzard players this season! Fans are invited do wear their Blizzard clothes and makeup!
