Big pep rally for the Edmundston Blizzard players!

Since the start of the playoffs, more than 22,000 spectators have attended Blizzard games at the Jean-Daigle Centre. On Tuesday, at 3 :45 pm, the fans are invited to the Jean-Daigle Centre to make noise and to show their support to the players who leave for Yarmouth. Photo Digiphoto

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – The Edmundston Blizzard fever continues to spread throughout the North West!

The players of the New Brunswick beloved junior A team are gearing up for their next two games in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, and a very long 1,000-kilometer drive.

To support the Blizzard players, the public is invited to a big pep rally when the team leaves on a chartered bus from the Jean-Daigle Centre in Edmundston, on Tuesday, April 17, at 3:45 pm. The gathering point will be outside the main doors of the Jean-Daigle Centre.

The fans, young and old, are invited to bring all their energy and to make all the noise they can at the time of the bus departure. The Blizzard will face the Yarmouth Mariners on Thursday (7 pm) and Friday (7:30 pm). The Maritime Junior A Hockey League’s best of seven final series is tied 1-1.
