Blizzard acquires Chrystopher Collin

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – The Edmundston Blizzard is pleased to announce the acquisition of Chrystopher Collin, a 20-year-old offensive forward from Boisbriand, Québec. Blizzard obtained him through a deal on Saturday, September 13 with the Flin Flon Bombers, a Junior A hockey team from the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. The Bombers will receive future considerations in return.

Collin finished third in Flin Flon’s scoring last season, collecting 54 points (22g, 32a) in 54 games. To make room in the Blizzard lineup, another 20-year-old imported player, had to be released. Dominic Loubert was let go by the team.

The Blizzard will play its first game at the Jean-Daigle Centre on Sunday, September 15 at 3 pm against the Campbellton Tigers.
