EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – The Edmundston Blizzard has acquired defenseman Olivier Beaudoin from the Granby Inouk of the Quebec Junior AAA Hockey League, in return for future considerations.
Beaudoin is an offensive-minded rearguard as shows his 4 goals and 11 assists in 24 games with Granby last season. Over the past two seasons, he has played 10 games with the Shawinigan Cataractes of the QMJHL.
Born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Beaudoin is 19 years old, 6’1” tall and weighs 168 pounds.
