Blizzard acquires Jean-Christophe Coulombe in return for Timothy St-Pierre

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – The Edmundston Blizzard has concluded a transaction with the Côte-du-Sud Everest, a team of the Quebec Junior AAA Hockey League.

Forward Jean-Christophe Coulombe joins the Blizzard in exchange for defenseman Timothy St-Pierre.

A native of Montmagny, Québec, Jean-Christophe is the brother of Olivier Coulombe, who played for the Blizzard last season. Jean-Christophe Coulombe is 18 years old, 5’11” tall and weighs 170 lbs. In the 2022-2023 season, at age 17, he racked up 15 goals and 15 assists in 48 games with the Everest.

Timothy St-Pierre, 18, played 16 games with the Blizzard last season, collecting two assists. He also played for the Campbellton Tigers and Fredericton Red Wings, totaling 1 goal and 9 assists in 46 games in the 2022-2023 MHL season.

The Blizzard welcomes Jean-Christophe to the team and wishes Timothy every success as he continues his career with Everest.
