Blizzard fans invited to the first game of plush animals and toys

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – Local media CFAI and Frontière FM radio stations as well as the Info Weekend newspaper team up with the Edmundston Blizzard in the organization of the first plush animals and toys to be held on Sunday, December 8, at 3 pm, at the Jean-Daigle Centre.

The objective for this activity is to give back to the community as the year-end celebrations approach. The December 8 game will coincide with the first anniversary of the arrival of the friendly Chinook mascot with the Blizzard.

Fans are invited to bring new plush objects (or used but in excellent condition) during the game where the Blizzard will host the Summerside Western Capitals.

People will be able to throw their plush animal or toy on the ice when the Blizzard scores its first goal of the game. Volunteers from various beneficiary organizations will pick them up to give back to children in need.
