EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – Two years after finishing 8th as the North America’s most attractive new sports logos in 2017, the brand image of the Edmundston Blizzard is still making headlines.
This time, the Blizzard logo ranks among the top one hundred best new logos of the 2010 decade in North America, nothing less! The compilation was released today by the virtual museum Chris Creamer’s Sportslogo.net, which took into account public and expert voting.
Blizzard logo is the only one among the Atlantic provinces sports teams to have its place on the honor roll. The Edmundston team shares the spotlight with prestigious organizations such as the Toronto Blue Jays, the Montreal Alouettes, the Montreal Impact and even the Houston Astros, the Philadelphia Phillies, the Golden State Warriors, the Winnipeg Jets, the Florida Panthers, to name just these well-established professional teams.
The Blizzard even improved its 8th position of 2017 to 5th place. The Minnesota Timberwolves (NBA) are in first place (score of 7.2/10) followed by the Detroit Pistons (NBA) with 6.20/10, the Memphis Redbirds (minor league baseball) with 6.10/10, Kootenay Ice (Western Hockey League) with 5.960/10 and the Edmundston Blizzard (Maritime Hockey League) with 5.959/10.
The first 2017 four award-winning logos come from teams who have rebuilt their branding while the Blizzard logo is an original design created by Productions Rouj of Edmundston.
