Blizzard-Mariners series: game 6 (if necessary) on the CJD’s Jumbotron

If a sixth game of the Blizzard-Mariners series is required, it will be held on Tuesday, April 24 at 7 pm in Yarmouth. EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – Edmundston Blizzard’s organization, in conjunction with the City of Edmundston, has announced that the 6thgame of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League finals will be shown on the giant screen inside the Jean-Daigle Centre if, of course a game six to be played on Tuesday, April 24 is necessary.

The best of seven final series is even 1-1. Third and fourth games will be played in Yarmouth, Thursday (7 pm) and Friday (7:30 pm). Game five will be presented at the Jean-Daigle Centre on Sunday (3 pm). Game six would be played on Tuesday, April 24 at 7 pm at the Mariners Centre in Yarmouth.

“The popularity of the Blizzard in the region is huge and we want to please all our loyal fans by rewarding them with a free admission to the game on April 24. It’s our way to respond to a strong demand from those who don’t want to miss a potentially decisive match for the MHL championship in Yarmouth. A champion team will be crowned between games 5 and 7, “said Blizzard President André Lebel.

During the April 24 game, spectators will be provided the same services as a live gam (50/50 draw, canteen). Doors of the Jean-Daigle Centre will open at 5:30 pm and only the first 2,700 people will be allowed. The admission will be free for everyone.

Many bars and restaurants in Edmundston have been showing Blizzard games on TV during the playoffs and fans are encouraged to cheer for the Blizzard at these venues in upcoming games on Thursday and Friday.
