EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – The Edmundston Blizzard’s blistering start has put them in fourth place in the Canadian Junior Hockey League’s first weekly rankings, released today.
The Blizzard won its first five games of the season. This is their best start since the first campaign in 2017-2018 when they won their first seven games. Edmundston scored 24 goals and allowed 10, for a +14 differential.
Summerside Western Capitals, also perfect in five outings, are second in the country. They scored 10 more goals than the Blizzard (34) but allowed three more (13) for a +21 differential.
The Amherst Ramblers (3-0-0-0) are in 8th place in the national rankings.
The Rockland Nationals (CCHL, 6-0-0-0) are first in the country, while the Yorkton Terriers (SJHL, 4-0-0-0) are third.
