Blizzard releases additional season tickets and first exhibition game set for September 4th

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – The new 2021-2022 season of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League (MHL) is closing in and the Edmundston Blizzard will not take long to jump on the ice.

The Blizzard, which kicks off its training camp on Wednesday, September 1st will play its first pre-season game on Saturday, September 4 at the Jean-Daigle Centre, hosting the Grand Falls Rapids. On September 12, the Fredericton Red Wings will be the visitors, while the Campbellton Tigers travel to Edmundston for a doubleheader on Friday September 17 and Saturday September 18. All these games will start at 7:30 p.m.

This is the first time in its five-year history that the Blizzard will play four pre-season games at home. Tickets for these four exhibition matchups will go on sale on Friday, September 3, starting at 9 a.m. online only. Tickets will be sold at the door starting at 5 p.m. on game days at the Jean-Daigle Centre. Blizzard will play two more exhibition games on the road, on September 5 (in Grand Falls) and on September 11 (in Fredericton).

Blizzard’s organization released ticket prices for individual games (including service charges): $ 15 (adult), $ 13 (60 and over), $ 11 (student), $ 7 (child aged 6 to 8), free (child aged 5 and under who will sit on the parent’s lap).

Additional season tickets
New season tickets will be on sale from Wednesday, September 1st, at noon at the Jean-Daigle Centre. The sale will run until 7 p.m. or while the number of available season tickets are sold. Prices are: $ 295 (adult), $ 255 (60 and over), $ 215 (student), $ 135 (child 8 and under).
