EDMUNDSTON, N.B. – The Edmundston Blizzard has signed free agent Michael Derbidge, a 20-year-old forward who played this season for the Caledonia Corvairs of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL).
His experience of 123 games in major junior hockey, from 2021-2022 to 2024-2025, will certainly be beneficial to the Blizzard. He has accumulated 35 points in total, including 15 goals and 20 assists, with the Sudbury Wolves and Barrie Colts (OHL) as well as the Drummondville Voltigeurs (QMJHL).
He started this season with Caledonia, a Junior B team with which he has scored 4 goals and 5 assists in 8 games.
The 6’1″, 198-pound forward will join the Blizzard on December 6 or 13.
