Blizzard trades Bujold to Valley in return for King

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – The Edmundston Blizzard and the Valley Wildcats made a trade involving two 20-year-old defensemen.

The Blizzard acquired Brant King in return for Vincent Bujold. King, 5’10 “and 181 lbs, has played 10 games this season with Valley, recording 5 assists. In his career with the Nova Scotia team, he had 6 goals and 31 assists for 37 points in 89 games. As for Bujold, his record was 4 assists in 7 games with the Blizzard this season. In 26 career games with Edmundston, Bujold has amassed 1 goal and 7 assists for 8 points.

A native of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, King was a Blizzard third-round pick (36th overall) in the 2018 Midget Auction Draft. He played a game with the Blizzard in 2018 -2019 before being returned to his midget AAA formation in Halifax. King was a teammate of Blizzard forward Mitchell McLeod for two midget seasons in Halifax.
