Blizzard trades Jack Brown to the Wildcats

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – To finalize a trade from last season, the Edmundston Blizzard traded defenseman Jack Brown to the Valley Wildcats.

At the January 10, 2026, trade deadline, the Blizzard had acquired defenseman Jack Bartlett from the Wildcats in exchange for the rights to Dylan Pelletier, a fourth-round pick in the upcoming June 20 draft, and future considerations.

Sydney, Nova Scotia native, Jack Brown, who will turn 20 in October, had previously arrived in Edmundston on January 1, 2026, following a trade with the Grand Falls Rapids, with whom he had recorded 2 goals and 5 assists in 32 games. With the Blizzard, he tallied 2 goals and 9 assists in 19 games. During the playoffs, he recorded five assists in 15 games.

In three seasons in the Maritime Junior A Hockey League, Brown totals 9 goals and 25 assists in 149 games.

The Blizzard management thanks Brown for his valuable service to the team and wishes him the best of luck in the 2026-2027 season.
