Blizzard’s Massé wins Metalfab MHL Cup Playoff MVP

Truro, N.S. (April 24, 2025) – The Maritime Junior Hockey League is pleased to announce that forward Carl-Anthony Massé of the Edmundston Blizzard has been named Metalfab MHL Cup Playoff MVP. The award was presented by MHL Commissioner Matt Moore and Metalfab Business Development Manager Ryan Stacey.

Massé’s point production had a slow but steady increase in each round of the playoffs, finishing with ten goals and twelve assists in thirteen games to lead all players in the playoffs with 22 points. The 20-year-old from Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec had three goals and an assist, including the Game 1 winning goal, in Edmundston’s first-round victory over Miramichi in five games. Massé tallied five goals and three assists as the Blizzard swept Campbellton to capture the Eastlink North Division Final. That included a hat trick in Game 2.

In the Metalfab MHL Cup Final, Massé had two goals and eight assists in the four-game sweep of Pictou County, including three points in each of the first three games of the final series.
