COVID-19: a first game postponed for the Blizzard

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – After being spared since the start of the season, the Edmundston Blizzard will have their first game postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions imposed today by the New Brunswick government.

Since health zone 3, including the city of Fredericton, will go in phase orange tomorrow (Friday, November 27) for a period of at least two weeks, the game scheduled between the Red Wings and the Blizzard on Thursday, December 3rd at the Jean-Daigle Centre has been postponed to a later date.

The Maritime Junior Hockey League’ management has been very busy this week with many changes to its schedule following decisions by both governments of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick to tighten health security measures.
