COVID-19: three games in New Brunswick postponed

Truro, N.S. (January 5, 2021) – The Maritime Junior Hockey League’s (MHL) five teams in New Brunswick are pausing their schedules as the provincial government announced today that all health zones are moving to the Orange Phase of COVID-19 recovery as of midnight. This will affect the following three games which were scheduled over the next week:

  • January 8th – Edmundston at Fredericton
  • January 9th – Edmundston at Miramichi
  • January 10th – Miramichi at Campbellton

An announcement will be made when the games have been rescheduled, as well as if today’s announcement will affect further games in the 2020-21 regular season. The MHL will continue to work with provincial health authorities and other stakeholders to ensure a safe return to rinks across the region for players, team staff, and fans.
