Defenseman Paul Slivca signs with the Blizzard

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – Edmundston Blizzard management is pleased to announce the signing of free agent defenseman Paul Slivca for the 2024-2025 season.

Slivca, a Châteauguay, Québec native, turns 20 next month. He played for the Cégep André-Laurendeau Boomerang last season. He finished tied for first among his team’s scoring defensemen. In 35 games, he collected 4 goals and 11 assists for 15 points.

Slivca helped Cégep André-Laurendeau win the Quebec college hockey championship last May. The 5’11, 172 lbs left-handed rearguard adds to an already talented Blizzard defensive brigade.
