Edmundston Blizzard announces sale of playoff tickets

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – The Edmundston Blizzard announced Monday the dates its Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL) playoff tickets will go on sale.

The schedule of the first playoff series will be announced by the MHL at the end of the regular season, the last game being scheduled for Sunday, March 11.  All series will be 4 of 7.

As it was agreed in March 2017, season ticket holders will have priority. They will be able to reserve their seat for the duration of the series by purchasing a package of 12 games. If the team plays fewer than 12 games, the amount equal to the number of games not played will be credited when renewing the season tickets next year.

The sale for season ticket holders will take place on March 12 and 13, from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm. Season ticket holders must present themselves in person at the Jean-Daigle Centre box office only. The rates for the packages are $144 (adult), $120 (60 and over), $96 (student) and $48 (8 and under). Payment methods will be by debit or credit card, check or cash.

Once the sale for season ticket holders is over, the regular individual tickets for the first two games will go on sale on March 14 at 8:30 am on the Blizzard website (www.blizzardedmundston.ca) or in person at the Edmundston Sports Pavilion and at Edmundston Events office. Subsequent tickets will go on sale as soon as it is determined that the series will continue at the Jean-Daigle Centre. For example, if the result of a game is such that the series continue, the tickets will go on sale the next day at 8:30 am.

In order to reward fans for their extraordinary support throughout the season, the price of individual tickets will remain the same as during the regular season: $12 (adult), $10 (age 60 and over), $8 (student) and $4 (6 to 8 years old).

Meanwhile, season tickets for the 2018-2019 Blizzard season will go on sale after the playoffs in early May. The exact date will be determined later. The season ticket holders will have priority.
