EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – The Edmundston Blizzard announced today the dates its Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL) playoff tickets will go on sale.
The schedule of the first playoff series will be announced by the MHL at the end of the regular season, the last game being scheduled for Sunday, March 10. All series will be 4 of 7.
As it was established last season, ticket holders will have priority. They will be able to reserve their seat for the duration of the series by purchasing a package of 11 games. If the team plays fewer than 11 games, the amount equal to the number of games not played will be credited when renewing the season tickets next year.
The sale for season ticket holders will take place at the Edmundston Event office (97 Church Street, Edmundston) during the opening hours (from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm) and will begin on Tuesday, February 26 and will end on Friday, March 8th. The Edmundston Event office will be closed on Friday, March 1st. Season ticket holders must present themselves in person at the Jean-Daigle Centre box office only. The rates for the packages are $143 (adult), $121 (60 and over), $99 (student) and $44 (8 and under).
Once the sale for season ticket holders is over, the regular individual tickets for the first two games will go on sale on March 11 at 9:00 am on the Blizzard website (www.blizzardedmundston.ca) or in person at the Jean-Daigle Centre from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on March 11. Then, if tickets are still remaining, they will go for sale at the Edmundston Sports Pavilion and at the Centre des arts de la petite église ticket office (from 1:00 pm on March 11) or in person at the Edmundston Event office. Subsequent tickets will go on sale as soon as it is determined that the series will continue at the Jean-Daigle Centre. For example, if the result of a game is such that the series continue, the tickets will go on sale the next day at 9:00 am on line or at the Jean-Daigle Centre’s ticket office.
The price of individual tickets will remain the same as during the regular season: $13 (adult), $11 (age 60 and over), $9 (student) and $5 (6 to 8 years old).
Meanwhile, season tickets for the 2019-2020 Blizzard season will go on sale after the playoffs in May or June. The exact date will be determined later. The season ticket holders will have priority.
