Edmundston Blizzard announces sale of playoff tickets

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – The Edmundston Blizzard announced today the dates its Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL) playoff tickets will go on sale.

The schedule of the first playoff series will be announced by the MHL at the end of the regular season, the last game being scheduled for Sunday, March 8. All series will be 4 of 7.

As in the past, season ticket holders will have priority. They will be able to reserve their seat for the duration of the series by purchasing a package of 12 games. If the team plays fewer than 12 games, the amount equal to the number of games not played will be credited when renewing the season tickets next year.

Season ticket holders will be able to buy their playoff tickets online (from February 17 until February 26) or in person at the Edmundston Events service points take place online during the opening hours and will begin on Tuesday, February 18 and will end on Wednesday, February 26. The rates for the packages are $156 (adult), $132 (60 and over), $108 (student) and $60 (8 and under).

For the general public, individual regular tickets for the first two games will go on sale on March 5 at 9:00 am on the Blizzard website (www.blizzardedmundston.ca) or in person at the Edmundston Events points of service, at the Edmundston Sports Pavilion and at the Centre des arts d’Edmundston. Tickets for subsequent games will go on sale as soon as it is determined that the series will continue at the Jean-Daigle Centre. For example, if the result of a game is such that the series continue, the tickets will go on sale the next day at 9:00 am online or at the Edmundston Events points of service.

Price of individual tickets will remain the same as during the regular season: $13 (adult), $11 (age 60 and over), $9 (student) and $5 (6 to 8 years old).
