Edmundston Blizzard heads for the draft session!

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – The Edmundston Blizzard management and all of its staff are all geared up for the Maritime Hockey League (MHL) annual meeting and the midget-aged draft session to be held from June 8 to 10 in Miramichi.

Last year, no less than 24 trades were concluded during the draft day. So we can expect the Blizzard to be active on Saturday, June 10 when its staff member takes the microphone to announce the team’s very first players’ selection and possible transactions.

“We have great expectations because the Blizzard will be well positioned with two picks in each first three rounds. Dieppe Commandos’ staff who preceded us has done an excellent job, “said André Lebel, chairman of the board of the Blizzard.
Since May 26, 2017, 12 transactions have already been concluded, including the one that sent forward Frederic Beauchesne-Dubuc from the Lumberjacks of South Shore to the Edmundston Blizzard in return for defenseman Alex Saunders.
