Former Canadiens players at the Jean-Daigle Centre in February

EDMUNDSTON, N.B. – Hockey fans will be happy to hear that a team of former Montreal Canadiens players will be in Edmundston on Sunday, February 22, at 2 pm to face off against a local team at the Jean-Daigle Centre.

This event is made possible by the Association des amies et amis du club de hockey Le Blizzard, which invites fans to purchase their tickets starting Wednesday, December 17, at 9 a.m. on the website https://amisdublizzard.ticketacces.net. Tickets for this game are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors 60 and over, $13 for students, and $9 for children 8 and under.

Tickets for this game featuring former Canadiens players will also be on sale at the Jean-Daigle Center box office during intermission of the Edmundston Blizzard game on Friday, December 19.

Here are some of the Montreal Canadiens Alumni who may be in uniform: Steve Bégin, Marc-André Bergeron, Mathieu Dandenault, Lucien DeBlois, Gilbert Delorme, Gilbert Dionne, Rick Green, Yvon Lambert, Stéphan Lebeau, Sergio Momesso, Mathieu Perreault, Oleg Petrov, Alexandre Picard, and Richard Sévigny.

The last visit by a team of former Canadiens to Edmundston was on November 23, 2011, when they faced a local team at the Palladium in Saint-Jacques.
