EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – Edmundston Blizzard management announces the hiring of Jonathan Lamy as assistant coach.
A native of Pincourt, Quebec, he has extensive experience behind the bench on many levels. Since 2006, he has been an assistant coach or head coach of midget AAA, junior AAA, college and university teams.
Last season, he acted as head coach of the U18 team of the Saint-Jean-Eudes Condors, which are part of the Quebec Student Sports Network (RSEQ). He was also the associate coach of the college team at Cégep Limoilou.
In 2019-20, he was a scout for the Charlottetown Islanders of the QMJHL.
The Blizzard coaching staff includes head coach Simon Olivier and the other two assistants, Martin Michaud and Martin Perron.
