EDMUNDSTON, N.B. – The junior hockey game between the Chaleur Lightning and the Edmundston Blizzard, scheduled for Friday, January 2, at the Jean-Daigle Centre, has been postponed to a later date due to heavy snowfall forecast for central and northern New Brunswick, which will make driving conditions difficult.
The new date for the game will be announced shortly. Tickets purchased for the January 2 game will be valid for the rescheduled game.
The first game of 2026 at the Jean-Daigle Centre will now take place on Saturday, January 3 (7:30 p.m.), when the Blizzard hosts the Campbellton Tigers.
