SUMMERSIDE, PEI – With the Thanksgiving weekend upon us, attention for the league turns to the MHL Showcase, which will take place at Credit Union Place in Summerside, PEI on Tuesday, October 10th and Wednesday, October 11th. Each of the league’s 12 teams will play two games consisting of two 25 minute periods during the event. These games will count towards the regular season standings.
“We’re less than a month into the regular season and already, so many of our current and former players have made thier mark on the game,” MHL President Brian Whitehead said. “I don’t think there could be a better time to bring our league together and show the hockey world what our teams, players and personnel are capable of.”
In conjunction with the City of Summerside, the Western Capitals are offering day passes to the event at a rate of $13.05 for adults and $4.75 for youth under the age of 17. Full tournament passes will be available for $19 for adults and $7.15 for those under 17. Prices include all applicable taxes and fees. All games of the 2017 MHL Showcase will be available live and online via mhl.hockeytv.com.
