More than 500 people gathered outside the doors of the Jean-Daigle Centre on Saturday, June 16, to purchase the 900 season tickets available for the 2018-19 campaign.
EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – The 900 new Edmundston Blizzard’s season tickets for the 2018-19 campaign have all been sold.
More than 500 people lined up in beautiful weather outside the Jean-Daigle Centre the day before and in the early hours of the morning to get the precious tickets on Saturday, June 16th. Combined with season ticket renewals, the total number of season ticket holders exceeds 1,400, representing over 58 per cent of the 2,397 seats at Jean-Daigle Centre.
Blizzard’s second season in the Maritime Junior A Hockey League promises to be another box-office success. Last season, the last 17 home games of the team were played in front of a packed house.
Blizzard players will report to the training camp in early September. In 2017-18, the Edmundston team clinched the EastLink North division and the overall standings. They went on to win the playoffs in April.
