Paul Slivca traded to Rapids

EDMUNDSTON, Nouveau-Brunswick – The Edmundston Blizzard made another move during the MHL transaction period, which ends on Friday, January 10.

Twenty-year-old defenseman Paul Slivca was traded to the Grand Falls Rapids in return for a 5th-round pick in the 2026 draft and future considerations. The two neighboring teams in the Eastlink North Divisions have traded players in less than 24 hours.

A native of Châteauguay, Québec, Slivca played in all 34 Blizzard games this season, collecting 6 assists.

Blizzard management would like to thank Paul Slivca for his precious services throughout the season.
