The Blizzard begins the playoffs on Saturday in Grand-Bouctouche

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – The Edmundston Blizzard will begin defending its title on Saturday, March 14, in Grand Bouctouche when they face off against the West Kent Steamers in the best-of-seven semifinal series of the Eastlink North division of the Metalfab MHL Cup. The game will tip off at 7 p.m. at the J.K. Irving Centre in Grand-Bouctouche.

The series will then move to the Jean-Daigle Centre for game 2 on Tuesday, March 17, at 7:30 p.m.

In eight games this season, the two teams are tied with four wins each. However, there is a big gap in goal differential. The Blizzard has scored 39 goals to the Steamers’ 20.

Both teams have identical records of three wins and one loss at home. The series promises to be a close one.

Ticket sales
Individual tickets for the games at the Jean-Daigle Centre on Tuesday, March 17, and Saturday, March 21, will go on sale online on Thursday, March 12, at 9 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at https://blizzardedmundston.ticketacces.net. Tickets will also be available on game nights at the Jean-Daigle Centre box office 90 minutes before the games.

Season ticket holders who have purchased their tickets for the playoffs are asked to bring their “Article Promotionnel – sans frais” ticket to the March 17 game to receive their promotional item.
