The Blizzard is ready to welcome its fans at the Jean-Daigle Centre

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – Junior hockey fans breathed a sigh of relief this past Friday when the government declared all of New Brunswick zones to be back to the yellow level.

Blizzard fans will be back at the Jean-Daigle Center for the first time in more than two months on Friday, March 12 (7:30 p.m.) when Edmundston host the Miramichi Timberwolves. New Brunswick teams had to resign themselves to a reduced and packed schedule of 30 games each to end the regular season on April 15. The Blizzard will be very busy with 18 games in 36 days.

In order to adjust to the Public Health guidelines in sports arenas, it will no longer be allowed to watch the game from the standing room at the Jean-Daigle Centre and fans will have to wear their mask an remain seated (distance of one meter). They will only be allowed to go to the bathroom. People who have purchased standing tickets will be contacted by the Edmundston Events box office to be relocated to seats.

The disruption of the schedule during the season has had an effect on the identity of tickets that season ticket holders possess. For the six remaining games at the Jean-Daigle Centre, subscribers are requested to use the following ticket numbers:

Friday, March 12              7:30 pm       Miramichi        at    Edmundston (ticket 8)
