EDMUNDSTON, N. B. – To support the fight against cancer, the Edmundston Blizzard have put up, for auction, pink jerseys that will be worn during the Saturday, November 9th game at 7:30 pm at the Jean-Daigle Centre against the Fredericton Red Wings. Winners of the auction will be able to collect the pink jersey directly from the corresponding player on the ice right after the November 9 game.
The proceeds of the auction, organized by the Blizzard team, with the collaboration of the Knights of Columbus, Council 1932, will be donated to the Edmundston Regional Hospital Foundation to provide services to women in treatment of chemotrapy for cancer.
The online auction will take off on Wednesday, October 23, from 9 am, and will end on Wednesday, November 6, at 5 pm. People can bet by going to https://encan.blizzardedmundston.ca. The Blizzard’s organization would like to thank those who will be participating in the auction for their great generosity towards this important cause.
