EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – The Edmundston Blizzard’s training camp opens today (Thursday, August 27) with the players arriving at the Jean-Daigle Centre.
Season tickets will be distributed during the intra-squad games on Friday, August 28 (between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.) and Saturday, August 29 (between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.). Season-ticket booklets will also be available for pickup during the exhibition game on Saturday, September 5 (7:30 p.m.).
Please note that the Blizzard, the Grand Falls Rapids and the Campbellton Tigers will meet at the E.-et-P.-Sénéchal Centre in Grand Falls on Sunday, August 30, where each team will play two exhibition games. The Blizzard will face Grand Falls at 2 p.m. and the Tigers at 4 p.m.
The following weekend, on Saturday, September 5, the Blizzard will host the Rapids at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for this game, as well as for the September regular-season games, will go on sale online on Thursday, August 27, starting at 9 a.m.
The Blizzard’s 10th anniversary season will feature a number of exciting activities, including a big pre-game tailgate party on September 19. Details will be announced in the coming weeks.
As for training camp, spectators are welcomed to attend practices and intra-squad games. Please see the attached schedule.
