EDMUNDSTON, N.B. – The Edmundston Blizzard has reached an agreement with the Valley Wildcats, acquiring the rights to 18-year-old defenseman Jack Bartlett in exchange for 17-year-old defenseman Dylan Pelletier, a fourth-round pick in the 2026 draft, and future considerations.
In 27 games this season with the Carleton Place Canadians, a Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) team located southwest of Ottawa, Bartlett has recorded two goals and nine assists. A native of Conception Bay South, Newfoundland, the 6’2″ defenseman was selected in the sixth round (64th overall) by the Valley Wildcats in the 2024 draft.
A native of Hamilton, Ontario, Pelletier is playing this season with Rothesay Netherwood School, where he has recorded one goal and seven assists in 16 games. He was a fifth-round (59th overall) pick of the Blizzard in the 2024 MHL draft and a fifth-round (76th overall) pick of the Québec Remparts in the 2024 QMJHL draft.
