Will Carroll traded to the Lightning for the rights to Félix-Sylvain Haché

EDMUNDSTON, N.B. – The Edmundston Blizzard made a trade, sending forward Will Carroll to the Chaleur Lightning in exchange for the rights to Félix-Sylvain Haché.

A native of Conception Bay South, Newfoundland, Carroll, 19, played 13 games this season, recording two assists. In his career with the Blizzard, he has played in 60 games, tallying two goals and 11 assists. He had a strong playoff run in 2025 with three goals and three assists in six games.

As for Haché, 16, he is a talented young player with great promise. In 25 games with the Northern Moose, a Midget AAA team in the NBPEIMU18HL, the 5’11” forward from Le Goulet (near Shippagan) has racked up 12 goals and 18 assists for 30 points. He has played in two games with the Lightning this season. Last June, Haché was drafted in the third round (26th overall) by the Lightning and in the sixth round (100th overall) by the Newfoundland Regiment of the QMJHL.

The Blizzard management thanks Will Carroll for his valuable services and welcomes Félix-Sylvain Haché to the organization.
