EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – About a hundred golfers met on the tees of the splendid Club de golf Fraser Edmundston Golf Club last night for another “Blizzard Night”.
Four hockey players from the Edmundston Blizzard Junior A hockey team swapped their hockey stick for a golf club. Vincent Rioux, Alex Lavoie, Pierre Bourgoin and Jeff Akerley were paired with a few teams.
The last two “Blizzard Nights” will be held on the evenings of August 22nd and September 5th.
The Blizzard staff would like to thank the event’s organizing committee and the Club de golf Fraser Edmundston Golf Club for their precious involvement. “Blizzard Nights” proceeds go for players’ billeting needs.
