MIRAMICHI, New Brunswick – “We have just had a great experience and, ultimately, we are very pleased with our draft picks,” said Andre Lebel at the conclusion of the Maritime Junior Hockey League 32nd draft held in Miramichi on Saturday, June 10th.

The President of the Blizzard is proud to say that his staff has done an excellent job.

“We got our hands on promising players for the future. Obviously, not all will be ready to join the team for the 2017-2018 season. Most will be returning to complete their apprenticeship this fall with their Midget AAA team in order to come back with us the following season, “he said.

André Lebel was surrounded by a team personnel with a lot of hockey experience. “Of course, Junior A hockey is a new happening in the Northwest region. Among the volunteers, let’s say experience is on our side. In the opinion of André Lebel, the Edmundston franchise receives many compliments throughout the league. “We feel very accepted in the MHL.
