EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – Defenseman Brandon Casey, of Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland, will continue his career with the University of Manitoba Bisons.
Casey finished his junior career last season with the Blizzard, leading all team defensemen in points (28) and assists (25) in 48 games. He also dominated the Blizzard’s blueliners in the playoffs with six points.
After playing 51 games in the QMJHL with the Rimouski Oceanic and Saint John Sea Dogs, Casey took part in 42 games with the Grande Prairie Storm in 2021-2022, of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL), where he accumulated 14 points (2-12).
Blizzard management wishes Brandon every success in his university hockey career, as well as in his studies.
