EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – The Edmundston Blizzard junior hockey season tickets’ blitz sale comes to an end on Sunday, April 30th at the Edmundston Sports Pavilion.
There are still excellent seats available. In addition, people who have purchased their season tickets by the end of April will have the chance to win their subscription after a draw.
The blitz campaign began on Thursday, March 2, during the visit of the Dieppe Commandos players to the Saint-Basile arena. The Blizzard will play its first games in the Maritime Hockey League (MHL) starting next September.
The price of season tickets varies according to the age categories. It will be $245 for adults, $199 for those aged 60 and over, $150 for students and $48 for children aged 8 and under. The season ticket holder will save between 20 and 30% on the entry price of the individual games combined.
Individual game tickets price was set at $12 (adults), $10 (60 years and over), $8 (students) and $4 (8 years and under). Admission is free for children of 5 and under accompanied by an adult.
Each MHL team plays 24 home games during the current regular season.
The purchase of a season ticket offers several advantages to its holder: addition of two individual game tickets during the season; 50% discount on pre-season games; 10% discount on team promotional items, access to the Blizzard VIP express entrance during games; invitation to participate in a private pre-season activity with the Blizzard team; first choice on purchasing the playoff tickets.
