EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – The Edmundston Blizzard of the Maritime Junior Hockey League begins a series of four pre-season games by hosting the St. Stephen Aces on Saturday, September 2, at 7 pm, at the Palladium of Saint-Jacques.
Entrance is $5 (general admission), $2.50 (season ticket holders) and free for children under 12 years of age.
The following day, at 7:30 pm, the Blizzard will face the Slammers in Woodstock.
The Blizzard will return to the Palladium on Wednesday, September 6, at 7:30 pm, to face the Slammers. Edmundston will play its fourth and final exhibition game on Friday, September 8, at 7 pm, in St. Stephen.
The Blizzard’s regular season will take off on Friday, September 15, in Woodstock. The first local game will take place on Friday, September 28, at 7:30 pm, against the Amherst Ramblers.
If everything goes as planned, the Blizzard will move to the new Centre Jean-Daigle for its inaugural game on Sunday, October 22 against the Nova Scotia South Shore team.
