The Blizzard hosts the St. Stephen Aces

EDMUNDSTON, N.B. – The Edmundston Blizzard is back at home and is returning to a normal life after eight of its first nine games on opposing rinks.

On Friday, October 13, at 7:30 pm, the Blizzard receives the St. Stephen Aces at the Palladium of Saint-Jacques. On September 23 in St. Stephen, the Edmundston team edged the Aces 6-2.

The Blizzard, 8 wins and 1 defeat, is ahead of St. Stephen (5 wins and 6 losses) in the EastLink North Division.

Ryan Salvis’ troop will then play four more games in October. On Sunday, October 15, the Blizzard will travel to Summerside to face the Western Capitals. The team will return for three home games on Sunday, October 22 (3 pm) at the Palladium of Saint-Jacques against the South Shore Lumberjacks, on Saturday, October 28 (7:30 pm) and Sunday, October 29 (3 pm) in the new Jean Daigle Centre of Edmundston twice against Summerside.

QUICK FACTS – Kyle Ward still leads the league in points (15) and goals (10) while his linemate Logan Johnston remains the best playmaker with 12 assists… Francis Asselin has a 2.05 goals against average, the third best in the league.
