Blizzard season tickets to be hand out

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – Edmundston Blizzard’s 2019-2020 season ticket holders who have decided to renew their subscription for the 2020-2021 campaign will be able to pay their subscription and collect their ticket booklet on October 13, 14 and 15, between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. at the Jean-Daigle Centre. People will be able to pay preferably by credit or debit card. Wearing a mask will be compulsory when collecting the tickets at the Jean-Daigle Centre. People having symptoms of COVID-19 are urged not to show up and instead send someone else. Physical distancing will be required when collecting the ticket booklets.

Season ticket costs remain the same as the last two seasons, tax included. It will be $269 for an adult, $223 for a person 60 years and over, $174 for a student, and $60 for a child 8 years and under. 2019-2020 season ticket holders who purchased tickets for the past playoffs (which have been canceled) will be credited when they renew their subscription for the 2020-2021 season.

In order to comply with public health guidelines, all season ticket holders have been repositioned in a seating plan respecting the physical distance of one meter. The seating order has been respected as much as possible, meaning that subscribers will find themselves seated next to the same people as last year (if these people chose to renew their season tickets of course). The new seats should also be around the same level as the previous seats (top, middle or bottom of the stands) but there is no guarantee that subscribers will be in the same section as last year.

As explained in the communication to subscribers and in accordance with New Brunswick Public Health guidelines, all spectators must always wear a properly fitted mask above the nostrils and under the chin during games at the Jean-Daigle Centre. There will be no food service (canteen) or bar service. People will not be able to bring food or drink from outside. Only the use of bathrooms will be allowed.

Note that this is an exceptional situation and one should consider oneself privileged to have the opportunity to attend Junior A hockey games. Everyone’s cooperation is fundamental to a back-to-normal hockey environment as quickly as possible.
