Ewan MacDonald recalled again by the Eagles

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – For the fourth time this season, goalkeeper Ewan MacDonald was recalled by QMJHL’s Cape Breton Eagles. He is expected to stay until Sunday.

The Antigonish 18-year-old played his first game with the Eagles during his last recall in November. He made a great impression despite a 4-3 shootout loss on November 27 against the Saint John Sea Dogs.

Between these two recalls, MacDonald only had time to play one game with the Blizzard, on Friday, December 6 in Grand Falls (5-4 shootout loss).

In 10 games with the Blizzard, he has a goal against average of 3.61 and a record of 5 wins, 3 losses and 1 shootout defeat.
