Raphaël Audet commits to Trinity Western University

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – Edmundston Blizzard management is pleased to announce that goaltender Raphaël Audet has signed with the Trinity Western University (TWU) Spartans for the 2022-2023 university hockey season.

The Spartans play in Langley, British Columbia in the Canada West Universities Athletic Association (CWUAA) league. This league is part of U Sports.

21-year-old Raphaël Audet played his last junior hockey campaign in Edmundston last season. In 21 games, he had a 3.25 GAA and a .901 save percentage. He compiled an 11-5-5 record. Before joining the Blizzard, he played 42 games in two seasons with the Rimouski Oceanic of the QMJHL.

“I chose TWU because I like the fact the class sizes are smaller than average. I think that smaller class sizes are great to build a stronger sense of belonging and make the learning process more personalized. On the athletics side, I believe that the hockey program will develop to become one of the best,” said Raphaël Audet on the Spartans Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/TWUSpartans).

Blizzard management thanks Raphaël for his invaluable service in 2021-2022 and wishes him the best of success in his studies and his university career.
